The Gun Barrel Sequence is the scene that typically opens any James Bond film, game, or other video media. It features James Bond walking along a white backdrop, shown through the view of the barrel of a henchmans gun. Realizing he is about to be killed, Bond quickly whips around and shoots the assassin first. The scene has been shot with many different actors including Bob Simmons, Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.

Although From Russia With Love had quite a few interesting gadgets, it wasn't until Goldfinger that gadgets became a larger part of the action. Goldfinger introduced Q's lab, homing devices, grappling guns, Oddjob's steel rimmed hat, industrial lasers, and the Aston Martin DB5.

The second anybody mentions the name Aston Martin, the first thought that comes to mind is the DB5 from Goldfinger. Introduced in Q's lab, the DB5 featured revolving number plates, GPS dashboard, tire slashers, smoke screen, oil slick, rear bullet proof screen, machine guns and an ejector seat.

Guy Hamilton was the second director of the James Bond series. He directed Goldfinger (1964), Diamonds are Forever (1971), Live and Let Die (1973) and The Man with the Golden Gun (1974). Guy was an assistant director for The Third Man (1949) and even doubled for Orson Welles! He also worked with producer Harry Saltzman on the two non-bond films Funeral in Berlin (1966) and The Battle of Britain (1969)

Vargas was a henchmen working for the criminal organization SPECTRE. He was the right hand man of SPECTRE's second in command, Emilio Largo. Vargas dealt with many of Largo's affairs, and tried to kill Bond on numerous occasions. He meets his end when Bond shoots him through the heart with a shark gun.
